Vino con Stelle

The 6th Annual Gateway for Cancer Research Vino con Stelle gala raised $550,000 to support early phase cancer research. The glamorous and intimate affair, held at The Arizona Biltmore on Oct. 14, was generously hosted by Dr. Stacie J. and Mr. Richard J Stephenson, Gateway’s vice chair and chairman. The evening celebrated Gateway’s 32-year history of investing in cancer clinical trials led by brilliant physicians and made possible by countless brave patients and benevolent philanthropists.

Guests were dazzled by the evenings emcee, actress, comedian and gameshow host Caroline Rhea; enjoyed entertainment by GRAMMY® Award nominee Robin Thicke; indulged in a wine pairing led by celebrity sommelier Anthony Giglio; and heard an inspiring message from this year’s Mary Brown Stephenson Award recipient, Basketball Hall of Fame member Spencer Haywood, whose journey with prostate cancer made him an advocate for cancer screening.
